CELEBRATE A MAGICAL WEDDING

We look forward to working with you to plan the wedding day you’re dreaming about.

Marriage is a time of public commitment between two individuals who wish to affirm their life together and we are always honored when couples ask us to be part of their wedding. For people seeking to be married, a marriage service is a sign of hope, a fulfillment of desire, and one of the most special occasions in their lives. From the church’s perspective, marriage is a gift of God, a sacred and holy covenant between two individuals that has its foundation in the faithfulness of God’s love.
Miami Beach Community Church was the first church on Miami Beach built in 1921. Our lovely Mediterranean Revival building, designed by famed architect Walter DeGarmo and built on land donated by Carl and Jane Fisher went through a full restoration that was completed in 2019. It is the perfect setting for an iconic wedding that combines the charm of the past with 20th century technology that includes state of the art sound system and live streaming capabilities. Our sanctuary can accommodate up to 300 guests.

What are the policies?

The pastor of Miami Beach Community Church shall officiate the wedding service and couples must complete counseling session(s) provided by the pastor.
Regarding Photography: Flash photos may be taken during the processional and recessional. Video cameras, if utilized, are allowed only if they are on tripods. Cameras may be placed on either side walls.

What are the fees?

Our wedding package covers the rental of the sanctuary, pastor’s fees which includes a minimum of 2 one-hour counseling sessions, organist/pianist, utilities, maintenance, church staff, rehearsal preparations, kneeling bench (optional), lighted candelabras (optional) and Order of Marriage Ceremony (keepsake). The fee schedule is maintained by our Office Administrator who can be contacted by calling 305-538-4511.

How do we schedule a wedding?

The couple that are looking to be married must make an appointment to meet with the church office.  No wedding will be scheduled through a third party arrangement (such as family). We find it best to communicate directly with all involved. Once a date is determined available, an agreement will need to be signed along with a non-refundable payment of 50%. The remaining balance will need to be made no later than 14 days prior to the scheduled ceremony. The couple will then meet with the pastor to start planning the ceremony.
